ART COMPETITION CELEBRATES CINEMA !

In celebration of the Sydney Film Festival 2006 and the city\'s love of cinema ART MOMENT GALLERY is running...
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE MOMENTS art competition. The theme is up for interpretation. Entries are invited in any medium, expressing the artist\'s love of the cinema, depicting favourite movie moments, phrases or even if something in your life reminded you of a film scene or phrase, you are welcome to portray it!
Artists,designers,graphic designers,illustrators, photographers,sculptors,lecturers,students of art, fashion,graphic design and film are welcome to submit their cinema related work.
* There are impressive judges and fantastic prizes!
* A special guest speaker from the film world will open the exhibition!
* If selected, your work will be exhibited in two venues!
MY FAVOURITE MOMENTS EXHIBITION of FINALISTS will be on at Art Moment Gallery June 1-15,
GRAND OPENING THURSDAY JUNE 1, 6-9pm. Exhibition will be opened by special guests from the film world at 7pm.
Followed by Attic Bar in Arthouse Hotel, 275 Pitt sty Monday June 26-Sunday August 5.
Non refundable submission fee of $30 per entry is payable in cash, direct bank transfer, credit card or cheque to Art Moment Gallery, 15% commission on works sold.
Please email the attached form ASAP, with image(s) of the work(s) you are entering attached.
Exhibition of finalists is limited in capacity. The form needs to be attached to each work submitted.
Deadline for submission and delivery of entries to the gallery- Thursday May 25 8pm.
Winners and finalists will be notified by email on Monday May 29.
Works that will not be exhibited are to be picked up in person by artist or someone authorized by the artist on May 30 between 12-7pm.
Those interested in entering the group exhibition or only attending the opening, are all required to respond by email to receive an invite by email. You are welcome to forward the invite to others who wish to attend the opening but RSVP by email is essential by each wishing to attend the opening.
