出發前，其實沒有計劃去Wineglass Bay，後來到了Hobart的第一天經過一間書店，看到一本書介紹1000個人生必到的景點...

而Wineglass Bay就是其中一個。經商量過後，大家都覺得是時候去．．．去見識這個生前必去的景點。
我們早上十時多由Hobart出發，中午駛到Coles Bay停留一會吃午餐\及拍照片，然後再入Freycinet National Park，開始進入Wineglass Bay。
要從高處觀看Wineglass Bay這個重要景點，先要越過Hazards的山脊，約行2小時的山路，便可到達觀景台遠眺Wineglass Bay的美麗風景，沿途山路有很多大石，奇形怪狀，值得留心欣賞。
若要近距離體驗Wineglass Bay，便要繼續下山，約1個多小時的山路，便可親身接觸這個被高度評價的地方。
美國旅遊雜誌《Outside》在1999年投選Wineglass Bay為世界十大海灘之一，評論如此描述：“This beach on the Tasman Sea forms a half-moon shape so precise it could be the smiley mouth on a Have A Nice Day button. I was the only human in sight. This place defines the word getaway; it’s rugged, serene and vast.”
當日天氣不錯，數小時的行山路程也不算辛苦，走到Wineglass Bay被清涼的海水浸浸腳真是人生一樂也。
