送給員工的大禮

電郵大意通知各員工將在二零零四年凍薪一年,並旗幟鮮明的表示香港總部已是連續第三年執行此政策,而我們悉尼分部才是首年進行凍薪決定,暗示公司大仁大義,員工不應有任何怨言之餘,反應有所感激才對。

近年世界經濟不景,尤其以東南亞所受的影響最為嚴重,凍薪、裁員或提早退休等精簡人手的方法已屢見不鮮,但其目的不外乎爭扎求存,使公司能在不景氣的大氣候中繼續經營下去,這都是不難理解的。

而雇主和員工之間,其實有着一種不可劃缺、互利互惠的關係。但所謂適者生存,在大勢所趨下,現階段兩者實在應該同舟共濟,沉着應戰,共同努力來過渡這個艱難的時間,方為上上之策。可是公司卻在這大氣候中依然故我,仍然擺\出一副千秋萬載,唯我獨尊的高姿態,在公佈凍薪決定之餘,不但沒有半點無奈,反而高調指出有關決策實屬對員工的一種彷如再生父母的恩賜,然後唯恐天下不亂,籍以聖誔禮物一份「送」給員工 ?! 這間公司到底怎麼了?!

不景氣的時艱終有一天會捱過去,但「牽一髮、動全身」,員工的士氣、對公司的歸屬感卻可以在一夜之間毀於一旦。一間公司若要成功\,掌舵之人絕不能只短視目前,必須有遠見的大智慧不可。

Her academic results were also always one of the best in the class. With everything she wants in her hands, she naively thought she was on the top of the world. Thus, she had become self-centred and narrow-minded before she had finally failed. She then realised her past was a total failure but instead of feeling sorry for herself, she has turned all the regrets into motivations to make it right again. She has started to experience the world, work hard on every aspect in life and enhance her knowledge and hopes it is not too late to make it up to what she has lost. Currently, she works in Media and Translation fields. But since she needs the bread and butter, she has always been struggling while pursuing her dreams.
